24 Hospitalized In Drug Overdose at Ohio Music Festival

(CNN, Aug. 7) Twenty-four people were hospitalized for drug overdose while at a music festival in Ohio. Several were treated with naloxone, used to combat overdoses from heroin or opiates. Some attendees had consumed marijuana candies, which were tested to have high dosage of THC, the psychoactive ingredient in cannabis. While only a couple pieces will get someone high, there were reports that some people were eating an entire bag. The drug that caused the overdoses is still under investigation. READ MORE.
