Arrest Made in Connection with Teen’s Overdose Death

(NBC4, May 24) An 18-year-old man in Virginia was arrested and charged for dealing drugs in the wake of the overdose death of a teen girl. Alexia Springer, 17, was found unresponsive and pronounced dead when paramedics arrived. Drugs were found in her system, included morphine, Xanax, and oxycodone, combined with alcohol. 18-year-old David Evers, who was a senior at her high school, was arrested for dealing the drugs that killed her.
