Students convicted of drug crimes while receiving federal student aid could lose their grants, loans, and/or work-study. 

Drugs can hurt more than just you. They hurt your family, both financially and in your relationship.

There is a drug-induced death in the US every 7.5 minutes. Drug overdose is now the leading cause of accidental death in the US—exceeding even motor vehicle accidents.

Drug overdose happens. Sometimes people are lucky and they come out of it okay. Other times they come out of their overdose with physical or mental problems. Or they end up in a coma. Or they die.

Did you know that your brain develops until the age of 25? Anything that you do to disrupt this process—including substance—will affect how your brain develops. 

Drug use may prevent you from getting scholarships or from getting into the school that you wanted because of poor grades. 

More and more studies of drivers killed in motor vehicle accidents have found an increasing number of these drivers testing positive for at least one drug.

Intentional or accidental overdoses can occur when you or your friend take too much of a drug—even if it's the first time taking the drug, and whether the drug is illicit, prescription, or over the counter. And if an overdose happens to your friend, you have to think twice about your responsibilities.

If you use drugs, you may lose control and become addicted.
