LPGA hopeful overcomes drug addiction for 2nd shot at golf
(Golf Week, Nov. 28) Golfer Amber Hensley tried desperately to avoid the destructive drug addiction path her mother took, but ended up in it herself. After a doctor prescribed her pain medication, she became hooked. However, her golf skills were recognized early, and saved her. She nearly lost everything, however, after losing a scholarship, quitting golf at one point, and giving up her dreams.
