Man admits to drug charge related to MSU student’s overdose death
(Bozeman Daily Chronicle, Dec. 5) A man arrested for possessing a dangerous drug that caused a university student to overdose and die has pleaded guilty. Geoffrey Qualls distributed synthetic drug U-47700, also known as "euphoria," to 20-year-old Natalie Dietrich, an economics major at Montana State University. Last January, Qualls and Dietrich were treated by first responders at a music venue after each had breathing problems. Both had taken the drug.
