Drug awareness activities highlight Red Ribbon Week

(The Daily Tribune, Oct. 25) High schools across the country celebrated Red Ribbon Week to acknowledge the dangers of drug abuse and the alternatives to doing so. Various schools held marches against drugs, red balloon release, assemblies with presentations, poster contests, and essay contests. One school set up a "graveyard of bad choices" depicting the lives of those affected by drugs or alcohol. READ MORE.
