Prom-goers Get Sick After Consuming Marijuana Edibles

(Wicked Local, April 12) Prom, a night filled with fun, pictures and dancing, is where lifetime memories are created. But prom night took a sharp turn for the worse for a group of Massachusetts teens who reportedly got sick after consuming marijuana brownies.

The students, who attend Danvers High School, were at the prom venue when police officers noticed that they looked ill. The teens then admitted to the officers that they consumed edible marijuana and were turned over to their parents.

The teens are all OK, but charges could be filed against whoever provided the students with the brownies, officers say. Read more.
