Students share creative ideas for NH's drug crisis in town hall
(WMUR, May 11) New Hampshire students gave their ideas for solutions to the opioid epidemic facing their local communities during a recent televised special.
Before their presentation, which was aired on a local station and called “State of Addiction: Student Solutions,” student were asked to study the addiction problem, spend a weekend learning leadership skills and then bring new ideas to the table.
Among their suggestions: An increased police presence, sign-out logs for when students leave the classroom and more. Read more and watch video from the presentation.
