Staten Island Teens Attack Drug Addiction With Their Own Words
(SI Live, June 20) A group of high school students in Staten Island are using their own words to perform theater about drugs. Called "Prescription for Addiction," seniors from Wagner High School are improvising a 12-act play about their choice not to take drugs. It's in response to the 75 overdoses in Staten Island since the beginning year, with 50 resulting in death. The students want to demonstrate that not everyone does drugs during their teen years, and are spreading the message through their acting. READ MORE.
