Students Take a ‘Stand’
(Cleveland Daily Banner, Aug. 19) Students and community members took a "stand" before a Thursday night football game in Cleveland recently. Three local high schools took the field to "Stand Out, Stand Strong, Stand United" against drug use, with spectators in the stand. Anonymous high school students spoke anti-drug messages over the speakers. The occasion was called "historic" and made other students recognize that there were other options besides drugs. READ MORE.
