Summer Concerts and Party Drug a Dangerous Mix

(UConn, July 6) As we get into the thick of summer concert season, illicit drug use tends to spike during these events. One particular drug that's making the rounds are synthetic cathinones, also known as "bath salts." They are a dangerous and deadly substitute for other stimulants. While they are more readily available and seem to be legally purchased in some areas, they have been known to kill its users or cause them to react violently.
