(Elite Daily, April 4) Addiction to marijuana may be linked to genetics, according to a new study. Researchers at Yale University found that between 18 to 36 percent of 15,000 participants showed a dependency on marijuana. Three genetic variations were linked to the symptoms of addiction as well. Two variants involved links to schizophrenia, which has been found to be related to marijuana addiction. Risks also found that socially awkward teens tended to have a higher risk of addiction than other teens. READ MORE.
